Replication is used in the production of mass quantities of CD’s or DVD’s (usually 1,000 or more). During replication, one master copy (a glass master) is created, which is then used as a stamp to imprint the data onto the remainder of discs in production. Each disc is then photographed and analyzed for quality and readability. This process ensures that each disc will contain the exact same information as the original, and is free of any imperfections. Finally, a thin metal coating is applied to protect the disc, and then it’s off to the silk-screen printing area where the label is printed directly onto the disc by either silk screen or offset printing.
We have the capabilities of producing as many discs as you need, and you can be sure that your project will be of the finest quality and delivered on time.
Duplication uses the original CD or DVD to simply copy, or “burn,” the data onto another disc. Duplication is used for small quantities of CD or DVD orders usually below 1,000. (we have no minimum order at DSM) This process allows for faster turn-around times and piece-meal orders. Once the content is added to the disc, a full-color paper label is applied.
We can provide reliable, high performance, high speed, stand-alone, duplication services to ensure all finished projects are defect free and delivered on time. Our production area has the capacity to duplicate any size CD or DVD continuously for 24 hours, and get the highest quality duplication at an affordable price.
